Take me to Slovenia to Drink Wine

I knew my ancestors were on to something. Slovenians were making wine before the Romans introduced it to other parts of Europe. There are all sorts of wines that I have never heard of since the Slovenes don’t sell too much of their wine – they like to drink it themselves. The whites: Laški Rizling, Malvazija, Rebula and šipon. The reds: Refošk and Teran.  I’m going to order some on line and try them out. I think I like this way of exploring the home of my ancestors and of my character in ‘Longing for Home’.
